Seen in front of the Scene

Monday, March 9th, 2009

It was a Garden street pile-up in front of the Downtown Brewing Company for the world premiere of the Bike Happening movie.  I had an on-bike  interview which made it look like I might have crashed, but I didn’t! I swear that never happens.

We hope to bring this movie to the Bike Momentum Art gallery in May, our Pecha Kucha presentation and other surprises. More on that later. Here is the link to the SLO Film Fest

The Tall Bike Posse from Nick Goodenough on Vimeo.
I got an unexpected email from a student filmmaker Nick Goodenough. He thought I’d be interested in seeing the final product of his class assignment. Hell Yeah! He filmed this footage during the 2007 SLO Criterium, and caught us on the community bike happening parade, the Thursday night “bubbles” bike happening and a backyard birthday party hosted by Deputy Tom. Thanks Nick for posting this. I hope you enter it into some short bike film festivals as well as our Bike Momentum art show.
